New Listening Sessions for Proposed Service Changes to OmniRide Local Services

Listening-only sessions on proposed changes to OmniRide Local Route 51 (Dumfries Local) and Route 94 (Lake Ridge Connector) will be held Monday, October 19, and Wednesday, October 21, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Dumfries Library, 18115 Triangle Shopping Plaza, Dumfries, VA.

• Route 51 is proposed to be updated to a microtransit zone, covering areas currently accessible only via the fixed Route 51 bus service. Alternate service would be provided by increased peak frequencies on Route 52 (Route 1 Local) and Route 53 (Dumfries Connector).
• Route 94 is proposed to be shortened to only operate between NOVA-Woodbridge and the Tackett’s Mill Shopping Center. Service between NOVA-Woodbridge and the Rippon VRE station would become a new microtransit zone, allowing passengers to travel within the new zone or access local buses at NOVA-Woodbridge.
