July 24, 2026: Detours for Routes 943 and 953

Due to the closure of Pennsylvania Avenue starting at 2PM on Friday, July 24th, all PM 943 and 953 trips will be on a detour.

The following stops will not be served:

Stop ID 1520-Pennsylvania after 7^th Street

Stop ID 2341 Pennsylvania before 10^th Street

Stop ID 1422 11^th Street and E Street

Alternate Stops:

Metrobus stop located on 7^th Street before Indiana Avenue (at the bus shelter)

Stop ID 1507: 14^th Street before F Street

Stop ID 1508: 14^th Street after Pennsylvania Avenue (Commerce Department)

*Passengers of the 943 and 953 may want to consider taking Metrorail to Pentagon to use the 942 and 952 for their commute home.

**Delays on all commuter routes may be possible with additional rolling road closures or if additional road closures occur.
